Married At First Sight bride Caitlin McConville has broken her silence after she was cruelly rejected by her TV ‘husband’ Shannon Adams on the Channel Nine show.
During Tuesday’s episode of the dating series, Shannon told the blonde beauty that she ‘wasn’t good-looking in his eyes’.
Appearing on Today Extra on Wednesday, Caitlin said Shannon’s hurtful words showed no respect towards her as a person.

‘I’m not sure he understood in the moment how hurtful and wrong the stuff he was saying to me was,’ she said.
She added that Shannon had previously been respectful to her on the show, which made his blunt words that much more painful.
‘It was hurtful I knew he was capable of giving me respect and he was choosing not to,’ she explained.
The blonde bombshell said it would be ‘very hard to move on from’ his cruel words and wasn’t sure how her relationship with him going forward would be affected.

During Tuesday’s episode of MAFS, viewers were left reeling after Caitlin had her heart broken during an Intimacy Task which went horribly wrong.
The episode saw Shannon, 30, cruelly tell her she ‘isn’t good-looking in his eyes’.
After the Eye Gazing task, Caitlin felt Shannon had ‘done a 180′ and was being ’emotionally distant’ so she decided to confront him about it.

When she asked Shannon what’s changed he said: ‘You are a good-looking girl but not in my eyes.
‘I thought you were going to come down that aisle and completely blow me away.’
He then said if Caitlin had wooed him over then he would have just cut things off with his ex in the first place.
In the moment, Caitlin was too ‘gobsmacked’ to react, but after processing the situation she broke down in tears and said she felt sick.
