MAFS Caitlin McConville reveals what her co-star Melinda Willis is really like as a boss
Melinda #Melinda
Married At First Sight bride Caitlin McConville may have left the show heartbroken, but she gained herself a brand new job alongside her co-star Melinda Willis.
The makeup artist, 27, wanted to leave her job after participating in the series for something more ‘financially stable’, and after she left her fellow bride Melinda offered her a position at her Brisbane-based salon.
Caitlin is now a senior technician at Melly’s Beauty Parlour where she specialises in lashes and brows, and she’s revealed what bride Melinda, 33, is really like as a boss.
‘I was working a different job and I was saying how I needed another job, something I can enjoy a little bit more and something a bit more financially stable,’ she told Yahoo Lifestyle.
‘And Melinda was like, “Babe, get your qualifications and come work for me!” and I was like, “I already have them!”. So we just thought why not?

‘We’re both Brisbane girls and we both have the same qualifications in this industry. Women supporting women vibes.’
Caitlin, who was recently photographed training for her new job on the salon’s Instagram page, said her new boss Melinda is ‘amazing’ to work with.
‘She’s so understanding, she’s really patient and she’s a great boss and a great friend,’ she said.
‘It’s a pleasure to work with her.’
The beautician made a shock exit at the most recent commitment ceremony on MAFS after saying she would no longer be disrespected by her ‘husband’ Shannon Adams.

But this may not be the last we see of Caitlin, who is tipped to return to the show next year for another shot at love due to the ‘unique circumstances’ of her exit.
She told Yahoo Lifestyle that if she was single and asked to go back on the show, she would definitely consider it.
‘Look, if I was single and I hadn’t found somebody yet, I would definitely be open to coming back,’ she said.
‘But I’m hoping to have found somebody by then!’
Photos of Caitlin training for her new job were posted on the Melly’s Beauty Parlour Instagram account
