We knew Luka Doncic was amazing, with the ability to be a one-man wrecking crew who could do it all in the NBA.
But how would the 22-year-old fare in his first Olympics with Team Slovenia?
The answer came in a 118-100 win over Argentina. Doncic put together an all-time unreal performance in just his first game on the Olympic stage with 48 points, 11 boards, five dimes and three blocks. He shot 18-of-29, including 6-of-14 from deep.
I mean … whaaaaaaaaaat?! Mind-blowing. Absurd. I’m going to run out of adjectives if I keep it up.
And guess what? He approached the record for most points in an Olympics game IN JUST HIS FIRST CONTEST!!
Luka Doncic has scored 48 points in his first Olympic game.
This is the second-most in Olympic history. Oscar Schmidt has the ultimate record with 55.
Still, four minutes remaining.
