As the Dallas Mavericks tried to mount a comeback in the second half against the Clippers, Luka Doncic rolled his left ankle while defending a drive by Kawhi Leonard.

He dropped straight to the ground and needed help getting off the court, eventually hopping into the tunnel to the locker room on one leg.

Though the injury looked bad, after a few minutes, the Mavericks confirmed the left ankle sprain, but indicated Doncic would be available to return.

With the Clippers leading 102-85, Doncic returned to the game, starting the fourth quarter. But his return was short.

With 9:02 left in the game, unable to keep playing, Doncic left the game not to return.

He ended the night with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

The first triple-double in Mavericks playoff history.
