Love Island spoilers follow.

There were make-ups galore in Love Island tonight, with Tom and Will staging a mission to win back the affections of Samie and Jessie.

In recent episodes, existing relationships have come under strain following the events of Casa Amor, and tonight’s episode saw the boys hatching a couple of romantic plans.

First up was Tom, who had got himself into the doghouse by connecting with Lydia during Casa Amor. Samie felt he downplayed their time together, and didn’t know if she could trust him anymore.

In order to win Samie back, Tom made a grand gesture by penning a poem in her honour, eventually winning her back after she spent the previous night alone.

Will, who had upset Jessie with his actions with Layla, enlisted the help of the entire villa to enact his plan, with Lana especially keen to support him.

As Will took Jessie to the terrace, the remaining Islanders each read out a message to Jessie, relaying one thing that Will loved about her. As she was visibly overcome by the gesture, the villa mates all celebrated and cheered as Will stated his feelings for her.

Whilst Tom and Will managed to repair their relationships, it wasn’t all smooth sailing elsewhere, with Shaq and Tanya still struggling to connect following her spell with Martin.

Kai and Olivia, who have since coupled up with Senam and Maxwell respectively, also had some tension between them, with Olivia demanding an apology from him following the most recent events.

He was adamant that he had nothing to apologise for, and told Senam that he wouldn’t be entertaining the idea of diplomacy. Though he and Olivia didn’t speak in this episode, it does feel like the situation could rise to a crescendo…

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
