Love Island: Andrew asks Luca about his feelings for Tasha

Love Island ’s Luca Bish says there’s ‘three sorts’ in the Spanish villa, seemingly leaving out Indiyah Polack and Amber Beckford after the show’s recent race row.

The 23-year-old fishmonger from Brighton was speaking to his love rival Andrew Le Page around the firepit, when he was quizzed over his feelings for the girls in the villa.

When asked how he felt about Tasha Ghouri, who has been torn between Andrew and Luca, the half-Italian hunk said she was “attractive”.

“She pulled me for a chat out of nowhere. But like for me, it’s Gemma and Paige,” Luca explained.

“And Tasha… it’s hard because she’ll say that to me, and then you’re kissing,” he said, referencing Tasha telling Luca she was attracted to him, despite being coupled up with Andrew.

Luca was subjected to criticism on social media after making the comments

“But like, there’s three sorts. And you’ve had similar conversations with all three, and they all know each other, they’re all gonna talk. How the f**k do you go about it the right way?” Luca asked.

He went on to talk about “Paige in a bikini”, joking with Andrew that he needed to wear three-quarter length shorts to “hide what’s going on down there”.

Viewers were furious, as they claimed Luca’s comments were disparaging towards Indiyah and Amber, and took to Twitter in their droves.

Andrew quizzed him over his feelings for Tasha

“Luca and Andrew saying there’s three sorts…I’m sorry are they in a different house to Amber and Indiyah or are they all just racist?” one fumed.

“This is sooo racist. Did he just say ‘there’s three sorts’??? Get the black girls out of there man,” another fired.

“Did he just say ‘there are three sorts’ …yeah Luca is certified Racist,” one angry viewer alleged.

Despite Love Island only returning to TV screens on Monday, it’s already been embroiled in a race row, as disgruntled viewers claimed one of the public votes was racist.

Moments after introducing this year’s contestants, host Laura Whitmore told the singletons that for the first time ever, the public would be deciding who would be coupling up for the first week.

After it was revealed Ikenna Ekwonna and Indiyah had been paired up, as well as Dami Hope and Amber, viewers complained on social media.

“Good old racist Britain. Pairing of the two black men with the two black women,” one irate viewer tweeted.

“It feels racist that the public paired the black women and men together. Idk what ITV was thinking, nothing about this ‘twist’ was mildly interesting. Original way was better and more dramatic,” another added.
