JOANNA Chimonides’ family shared a statement on Instagram after she broke down in tears again in the All Stars villa.
Their post came hours after Chris Taylor’s family insisted that he “deserved better” as the couple hit the rocks this week.

It’s all become too much for Joanna Chimonides and Chris Taylor in the All Stars villa
Joanna, 28, returned to Love Island as a late bombshell and soon caught the eye of orginal islander Chris.
The pair had initially hit it off, with fans believing that they were becoming the most solid couple on the spin-off ITV2 show.
After a week coupled-up in South Africa Joanna expressed her doubts about him and told her pal that their personalities were too different.
On Wednesday, she was spotted crying to Arabella Chi and there were more tears on Thursday night when the islanders played a voting game called Couples Goals.
One question touched a nerve, and the villa descended into a row when the cast voted Chris and Joanna as the pair with the least sexual chemistry.”
And it all became too much for radio host Joanna – who had already confessed in private that Chris had turned her off by being “too jokey”.
Despite the row, Chris was spotted comforting Joanna at the firepit.
But after watching the emotional scenes, her family shared a picture of her with Callum Jones after she pulled the northerner for a chat to explore their new connection.
They wrote Instagram: “We can’t begin to tell you how hard it was seeing Joanna upset.
“Going onto Love Island is about exploring connections and Joanna has remained true to herself.
“Those who know her, know how genuine, kind and full of life she is.

“So, in true Joanna fashion, we’re going to look at the bright side of life with a picture of Callum stroking Joanna’s hairy legs – seems like things have progressed quickly.”
They also liked a comment beneath the picture from a fan that said: “I predicted this couple was gonna happen! I think they are more suited to each other! I’m all for it.”
Earlier, Chris’ family took to social media to react too, and they appeared to make a dig at Joanna.
They said it had been “tough” for them to watch him being criticised over his “jokey” personality.
A message on his Story read: “A tough one to watch for our Chris, especially as his family and friends know he has so much to give. His humour is just another wonderful part of him that we love.”
They added: “Hopefully someone will realise that it’s just him as a person and another reason to love him.”
Their statement included screen shots from fans who have been messaging Chris, with one writing: “He deserves so much better.”
The pair are now facing the axe after Maya Jama strolled into the villa and announced a mass dumping following the results of the game.
