Love Island’s Faye Winter in tears because she doesn’t want to give Teddy ‘control’

Love Island contestant Faye Winter was in tears on Monday evening after coupling up with newcomer Teddy Soares.
The 26-year-old lettings manager was saved by the newbie, which resulted in Rachel Finni being dumped and sent packing.
Following their first day as a couple, which included taking part in a pretty gross eating challenge, Faye was clearly feeling a bit overwhelmed about her new relationship.
Dressed up to the nines, Faye went off to have a private conversation with Liberty and Sharon, who were keen to hear how she was feeling about Teddy.
“I’m really struggling at the moment because, for me, you girls have seen a different side to me and it’s cos I trust you girls,” Faye began.

“I know everyone in here has been hurt, so like to give somebody the control is really hard because it’s like I don’t want to give that side of me again to not be able to get it back.”
At that point Faye became tearful and started crying on Sharon’s shoulder as she consoled her.
Trying to compose herself, Faye continued: “It’s fine, but I just feel like it’s all a lot, and this conversation….”

Liberty then touched upon her own relationship with Jake, and told the girls: “I don’t know what’s going to happen, but all I know is every day I’m seeing how we’re getting on and taking it day by day, it takes time.”
“It takes time just to get to know me, and I worry that some people don’t have that patience,” Faye added.
Later on in the evening, Faye was seen having a chat with Teddy on the terrace as they spoke about how things have been between them so far.
The conversation ended with a cheeky snog and Faye appeared to be in happier spirits before they got ready for bed.
Faye was previously in a couple with Welsh hunk Liam Reardon, and although they appeared to have chemistry, it clearly fizzled out very quickly.
In the latest re-coupling Liam chose to pair up with blonde bombshell Millie Court, and they were also seen getting up, close and personal and enjoying a few kisses.

However, Love Island viewers weren’t overly keen with so much kissing being shown and compared one kiss to sounding like a “toilet plunger”.
One person tweeted: “The sounds of these ppl kissing is f**kin haunting me, turn ur mics down PLS #LoveIsland.”
Another viewer added “These kissing noises are starting to sound like toilet plungers #LoveIsland,” while another penned: “All this kissing is making me sick #LoveIsland.”
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
