Love Island 2023 viewers were pretty divided as a teaser clip appeared to show Catherine kissing newcomer Elom, as partner Scott remained in the main villa

Love Island teaser: Catherine kissing the new boy

Love Island’s Casa Amor may have its first casualty, as one girl was shown kissing a new boy in a preview clip.

Catherine locks lips with bombshell Elom on Monday night, with the tomorrow night teaser revealing all.

After things get steamy for all of the Islanders in the challenge, the evening sees Catherine and Elom getting closer before they go in for a kiss.

In the clip Catherine is heard asking: “So you wanna kiss me?,” before they lean in and share a moment of passion, while the clip ended just as the kiss was happening.

Of course we have no idea what is going on in the main villa, and whether Scott, Catherine’s current partner, is getting to know a new girl.

That said, viewers couldn’t hide their “upset” over Catherine “moving on”, as they hoped the couple would survive Casa Amor after recent comments about their romance.

Taking to Twitter, fans were shocked and gutted over the possible ending of Scott and Catherine, with one fan writing: “Catherine? I’m actually really upset.”

Another viewer said: “Catherine … I’m speechless …. How could your head turn so quick??? There’s ppl thinking Scott weren’t into Catherine.”

A third fan agreed: “Catherine what the hell is this,” as a fourth wrote: “CATHERINE NOOOOO.”

It follows Catherine flirting with Elom on the first night, and Scott joking about no longer missing Catherine once the new girls arrived.

His comments about being “excited” for Casa also annoyed fans, with many guessing he too would move on with another girl.

Supporting Catherine, one fan tweeted: “YES, Catherine!!! We’ve gotten more of her and Elom than her and Scott. LOL. I’m here for it! Looking forward to tomorrow’s show.”

Another agreed: “Y’all need to ease up off Catherine cause we don’t know how Scott is behaving and rmr the whole situation w/ the others saying he’s using her probably put doubt in her mind.”

It comes after original Islander Molly was confirmed to be returning to the show for Casa Amor, in a clip during Friday’s episode.

Just weeks after her being savagely dumped from the show after Kady chose her man Zach, it was rumoured Molly would be heading back in for Casa Amor.

The news was confirmed in a clip on Friday that saw five new Casa girls heading to meet the boys in the main villa.

As the clip came to an end, the camera focused on a sixth girl walking behind them all and it was a familiar face.

Molly was seen strutting towards the villa with a grin on her face, confirming she was back.

Molly had been devastated to leave Zachariah behind, and the pair had an emotional chat with her keen to wait for him.

She was left reeling on her return home though to see Zach had very much moved on, flirting with Whitney and sharing kisses and cuddles in bed with Kady.

Kady ended up clashing with Whitney and Zach over the possible chemistry between them, claiming she wasn’t being kept in the loop.

But now Kady can do nothing as Zach is in the villa with five new girls and former flame Molly – something she and the other girls have no idea about.

Joining Molly as a Casa bombshell are new girls Abi, Danielle, Tink, Amber and Gabby.

There are also six new boys who have joined the original girls in the second villa, Casa Amor.

They are Ouzy, Benjamin, Kodie, Zachary, Elom and Lochan.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
