Love Island fans spotted something odd about Liam and Faye’s date

Love Island fans have noticed something a bit off between Liam Reardon and Faye Winter, after the pair went on a brunch date and shared a slimy kiss (their words not ours) after the Undercover Lover challenge.

Faye and Liam seem to be ticking all the boxes. After recently coupling up the pair have shared a noisy kiss and completed a challenge together. But even though everything looks good on paper, fans have spotted something a bit odd about the couple, and particularly their brunch date.

Fans are convinced that Faye and Liam don’t actually like each other at all, with many of them taking to Twitter to point out how awkward and uncomfortable their brunch date was (along with most of their interactions generally).

During their poolside brunch fans spotted numerous awkward silences a long with the uncomfortable moment Liam left the table to go to the toilet – something the other boys were in disbelief about when he told them later.

Despite the fact the pair share a less slimy (but still very noisy) kiss in tonight’s episode, fans are almost resoundingly positive that they’re just not into each other at all, with many of them saying that they believe Liam actively dislikes Faye.

Could the arrival of two new bombshells tonight stir the pot a little? For the sake of our cringe thresholds, I very much hope so. Even stills of this infamous brunch feel awkward.

Between the uncomfortable brunch and the coq au vin blunder from the previous episode we are truly struggling to understand this series. But we love it all the same.
