Love Island fans are convinced they know why Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Nathalia Campos are at each other’s throats.

There has been a huge shake up in the ITV2 villa since four new hopefuls entered the show on Wednesday.

And straight away, they wasted no time in honing in on their targets with Nathalia aiming for Adam Collard, who was the first Islander to ever come back into the villa twice. 

But on Thursday, Adam decided to focus on Paige – which meant Nathalia was left out in the cold and rubbing Ekin-Su up the wrong way as the pair had a verbal spat as tensions seemed to rise between the women.

Ekin-Su and Nathalia clashed with one another when one said the other felt she ‘had an issue’ with her.

In an attempt to diffuse things, Nathalia insisted they were fine but, when Ekin-Su persisted, Nathalia suggested that ‘maybe she had an issue with herself’ ending all hope of there being a truce.

Despite the full spat not airing as of yet, fans are convinced they know the real reason for the animosity between the two women. With Adam now seemingly off the table, fans believe Nathalia is livid that Ekin-Su is standing in the way of a potential romance with Davide.

‘Davide gonna be over the moon, babes are fighting over him #loveisland,’ one wrote. 

A second added: ‘Nathalia is just salty that she couldn’t turn Davide’s head #loveisland,’ as a third wrote: ‘Nathalia getting a bit too cocky thinking she even has a chance with Davide, pipe down with the attitude #LoveIsland.’

On Thursday, Nathalia did seem to make a go of things with Adam who initially seemed to be keeping his options open.

During the date Nathalia asked if he was glad she picked him, he replied: ‘Of course. Look, me and Paige are going really well but like I’m a realistic person as well. It’s only been a week; we’ll just need to see what happens.’

Elsewhere on the dates, Danica and Jamie seemed to connect as they shared a kiss whilst Deji and Lacey also got along well and after she told him she couldn’t kiss him earlier because of her red lipstick, she ‘made up’ for it during the date.

Ekin-Su told new boy Reece she had her heart set on Davide but things are still up in the air for Adam, as he admitted he was still open to getting to know Nathalia, much to the annoyance of Paige in the villa.
