This year’s Love Island contestants have officially been confirmed, however, fans didn’t know how to feel about the promo shots used.

So far, 11 singletons have been revealed to be heading into the brand new Majorcan villa, including footballer Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma Owen.

This year’s edition will make history too with model and dancer Tasha Ghouri confirmed as the first-ever deaf participant.

While we were busy stalking the stars that will be our source of entertainment for the next two months, devoted viewers slammed the photographer in charge for failing to capture their ‘good angles.’

One person wrote: ‘These Love Island promo pics ain’t it. I went on each contestant’s Instagram and saw completely different people’

‘Tbh the love island photographer has been doing them dirty for YEARS. They always look so much better than those promo pics lmfao,’ another added.

‘Whoever does those love island promo photos is mean, it’s like they purposely use the worst photo possible sometimes when the person is making a weird face from a strange angle,’ a third person tweeted.

The new series of Love Island is set to launch on June 6 and this year’s batch of contestants will receive inclusion training exploring language and behaviour before entering the villa as part of ITV’s ‘extended duty of care protocols’.

All islanders involved in the hit ITV2 reality series will receive video training and guidance on inclusive language around disability, sexuality, race and ethnicity, behaviours and microaggressions.

It was recently reported that the stars of this year’s show will be given a detailed health questionnaire, which includes asking about their alcohol intake, the use of drugs and asking islanders: ‘Have you ever had cold sores or genital ulcers or been diagnosed with genital herpes?’

Meanwhile, the papers seen by The Sun, urge the Islanders to practice safe sex and outline how they cannot sue ITV if they contract an STI or fall pregnant.

They reportedly say: ‘Without in any way limiting the foregoing, you represent and warrant that, to the best of your knowledge, you do not currently have any sexually transmitted disease.
