Love Island’s latest bombshell Danny Bibby is hoping to be the alpha male when he strolls into the Spanish villa.
Thursday night’s episode of the ITV2 dating show ended with Kaz heading off on a date with Danny, but viewers will have to wait until Friday’s instalment to see how they got on.
Danny had chosen two girls to go on a private date with and Kaz was first up, but it seems he also has his eye on a few others.
When asked who he likes, the 25-year-old plumber from Wigan said: “Lucinda is my type – nice eyes and tanned. Sharon is nice. I like Kaz’s vibe. Kaz is bubbly like me so I think we’d get on like a house on fire. I think me and Kaz will vibe.”

However, Danny may have some strong competition when it comes to Lucinda as she has started growing close to Aaron since Brad’s departure.
But Danny doesn’t seem too worried, and said: “The guys need an alpha male and I feel like that’s me. The girls have Faye who says it how it is but the lads are all like little sheep. There is no way I would have sat back and let Hugo cry.”

Asked if he plans to stir things up in the Spanish villa, Danny replied: “Not so much to stir it up but I will speak my mind. My Dad would say I’ve got no filter. I’ll say whatever comes to mind – bad or good.”
Danny also revealed that it was the pandemic that spurred him on to take part in the ITV2 dating show.

“My mindset has changed in the last year. Lockdown has really made me reevaluate my life and it’s done me good,” he explained.
Probed on whether he’s looking for fun or a relationship on Love Island, Danny said: “Bit of both, really. You never know what’s around the corner. Hopefully someone can sweep me off my feet.”
The girls were certainly excited at the prospect of a new man moving in, especially Kaz, who hasn’t had much luck in the villa so far.

The 26-year-old fashion blogger has been on the show since it launched on June 28, and seems to get on with all of the boys, but on friendly terms.
Sharon is in a similar boat and is currently in a friendly couple with Hugo, after things between her and Aaron went sour.
Meanwhile, Lucinda is currently single after her partner Brad made the difficult decision to dump himself.

Brad and Lucinda were voted as the least compatible couple by the British public, and this led to them having to choose whether to both leave – or one remain.
Brad urged Lucinda to stay and see if she clicks with anyone else, but he was in tears as he announced he would leave.
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
