Love Island 2023’s Casey faces backlash over Claudia decision

Love Island spoilers follow.
Casey has faced a backlash on Love Island following his decision with Claudia, with the drama unfolding ahead of tonight’s all-important vote.
In last night’s episode (February 27), Casey admitted to Claudia that he wanted to pursue a coupling with Rosie, and many of the Islanders felt that he had treated her unfairly.
Casey was left disappointed after he felt Tom and Will didn’t have his back, with the pair making their sides clear in the ‘Snog, Marry, Pie’ challenge.

Tonight’s (February 28) action picked up in the middle of the party, with Casey and Rosie having a chat on the terrace to cement their bond.
His joy was short-lived, however, as Jessie came over for a chat after seeing Will was upset from the previous night’s events.
She felt that Casey was out of line when stating his irritation with Will, but Casey was adamant that none of this was Jessie’s business. He said that the matter had been dealt with and that she was using the opportunity to “have a go” at him.
“I really don’t understand why you’re getting involved in this. It’s really got nothing to do with you,” he said. “I’ve literally been through this with everyone. I don’t need to go through it with you.”
The pair then departed on uncertain terms.
The drama wouldn’t end there, however, with Jessie and Will drawing the ire of Casey as she mentioned his name in the bedroom at night. He took issue with them again and felt like he was being targeted throughout the whole affair.

As the Islanders attended their late-night party, things took a turn when Maxwell expressed to Casey that he thought Jessie was “playing a game” and didn’t shed any tears when she learned of Will’s actions during Casa Amor.
Casey then relayed Maxwell’s admission to Tom, Samie and Claudia before apologising to Jessie.

At the same time, Will found out that Jessie’s intentions seemed to be the talk of the villa, whom he described as “snakes”. With Will clearly upset about the events, just how will he seek to rectify the matter ahead of tonight’s vote?
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
