Wolves are reportedly set to part ways with head coach Julen Lopetegui just days before the start of the Premier League season.

The Guardian report that the Spaniard is set to leave this week, with discussions taking place over a settlement for his exit.

He has made his frustrations with the club’s transfer business this summer clear on several occasions, with the club now concerned that dressing room morale will be impacted as a result.

They have held talks with former Bournemouth boss Gary O’Neil about taking over and held productive talks with him about replacing the former Real Madrid coach.

O’Neil left the Cherries in the summer despite leading the side to Premier League safety and was replaced by Andoni Iraola.
