Time’s almost up to catch up with the God of Mischief in the second season of Marvel’s Loki.

A first trailer has been released today (July 31), giving fans a closer look at the time-hopping shenanigans Tom Hiddleston’s character will be up to in season two, premiering this autumn.

His trusted Time Variant Authority (TVA) pal Mobius M Mobius (Owen Wilson) by his side, it seems that Loki will have to deal with a condition known as “time slipping”, which causes him to inadvertently jump across different timelines.

Oscar-winning star Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once) is the one who breaks the news to Loki in the new clip.

The Indiana Jones actor joins the cast of the Marvel show on this upcoming chapter in an undisclosed role, though it seems clear his character works for the TVA. But can he cure Loki? Jury’s still out on this one.

The trailer also sees some returning stars, including Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Ravonna Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15 and Tara Strong, back to voice the ever-sassy Miss Minutes.

In the final scenes of the montage, Loki comes face to face with Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors), a variant of main antagonist He Who Remains and Kang the Conqueror, the MCU’s big baddie introduced in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Alongside Loki newcomer Quan, season two also features Game of Thrones’ Kate Dickie in a villainous role, as well as Rafael Cordero and The Witcher’s Liz Carr.

Loki season 1 is streaming on Disney+. Season 2 will premiere on October 6.
