Logan Paul rolled into Hard Rock Stadium in Miami with a special piece of jewelry around his neck.
Though it wasn’t what fighters are usually seen rocking, it was worth as much as the best of them — if not more.
Paul wore his special first edition Charizard Pokemon card in a case around his neck as he entered the ring.
The announcers took notice of it, too.
“He’s ready to Pokemon-go here tonight,” one said, referencing the popular mobile game that helped the game return to prominence.
Pokemon cards, like various other trading cards, have skyrocketed in value in recent years. Paul has purchased several single cards and packs from the iconic trading card and video game series for what seems like ridiculous prices on the surface.
He’s spent millions of dollars on boxes of Pokemon cards, which he’s then opened on YouTube. Last month he shared his PSA10 holographic Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur cards on Instagram — which he said are valued at $1 million together.
It’s not clear specifically how much the Charizard card he wore on Sunday night in Miami is worth, but it’s believed to be worth more than $300,00.
While the YouTuber’s fight with Mayweather was a lot of things, to say the least, Paul definitely gets credit for wearing the most unique piece of jewelry into a boxing ring with his card.
