Morris, a Legacy Christian Academy graduate, was at her best in the biggest moments of the game. After playing through foul trouble in the first half, Morris used her mid-range game to create offense during key possessions in the fourth quarter.
Morris scored 19 or her 21 total points in the second half. She also did well to set up her teammates with 9 assists in the win.
In addition to her offensive contributions, Morris was matched up for most of the game against Caitlin Clark, the National Player of the Year. Clark scored 30 points on 9-of-22 shooting from the field.
