Outgoing Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) lambasted former President Donald Trump for calling for a suspension of the Constitution in the wake of Twitter releasing information about how the Hunter Biden story was handled in 2020.
Cheney declared that “no honest person can now deny that Trump is an enemy of the Constitution” in a tweet she sent on Sunday.
The Wyoming Republican was responding to a message Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social on Saturday, in which he proclaimed that “a Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”
‘ELECTION CRIME’: TRUMP RAGES AGAINST BIG TECH AMID HUNTER BIDEN REVELATIONS
Despite constant calls from the former president, no widespread voter fraud has been found in the 2020 presidential election.
The post was one of several by the former president responding to the “Twitter Files” released via journalist Matt Taibbi of the detailed deliberations of how Twitter employees and executives suppressed the October 2020 New York Post report about the Hunter Biden laptop. The released files also show the social media platform took down some posts at the request of the Democratic National Committee prior to the 2020 election.
