Hello and welcome to the ECHO’s live coverage of Liverpool’s pre-season friendly against Leicester City at the Singapore National Stadium.

The match with their former Premier League rivals will be the Reds’ third run out of the summer and their first since they arrived in Singapore.

A much-changed Leicester squad, under new boss Enzo Maresca, will be an interesting test for Liverpool, following their relegation from the English top flight last season.

The Reds will go into the game on the back of the two friendlies they played during their training camp in Germany. After beating Karlsruher 4-2, Jurgen Klopp’s side then drew 4-4 with Greuther Fruth.

Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez, with a brace, all got on the scoresheet for Liverpool, who should be boosted by the return of £60m new signing Dominik Szoboszlai after he missed the most recent friendly due to an ankle knock. However, the Reds will be without Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic and Conor Bradley as the trio recover from injury.
