Liverpool star Darwin Nunez fired Gabriel Jesus warning by Gary Neville

Nunez has been a certain starter under Jurgen Klopp, despite his poor finishing, due to injury issues in the German boss’ ranks.

Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota have missed most of the season through injury, giving him free rein on the left wing or upfront.

However, the duo’s impending returns, joined by Cody Gakpo’s £37m switch from PSV Eindhoven in January, will add pressure on Nunez to start firing more consistently.

He has shown enough signs of his class in the box being present, though, and Klopp will be confident he will eventually come good.
