In a statement sent to the ECHO, FSG maintain that they are ‘fully committed’ to the ongoing success of Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp but admit they are open to the possibility of further investment from elsewhere.
Liverpool are said to have shown the ‘greatest interest’ in RB Leipzig and Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol, while the Reds have also been named as one of several monitoring Real Valladolid full-back Iván Fresneda.
Meanwhile, strongly-linked Liverpool target Sofyan Amrabat has seemingly snubbed the Anfield club while singling out Atletico Madrid’s playing style as one he would enjoy being part of.
