Liverpool Make A Move For Adama Traore

Liverpool #Liverpool

The Wolves forward could go for just €30Million this summer

As pre season begins and Liverpool prepare for another title battle, the rumours of potential incomings have only ramped up in recent weeks.

According to numerous reports, Liverpool are indeed in the market for a midfielder and a forward, and could potentially be ready to snap up a familiar figure in Wolves forward Adama Traore

Traore is on that list of players fans hear Liverpool are regularly linked to each year and it appears this summer is no different.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool have made an enquiry for the 25 year-old.

Liverpool were linked with the Spanish forward last summer but no offer was ever made. Instead, the Reds signed Traore’s Wolves team-mate Diogo Jota.

Reports at the time had said Wolves had valued Traore at around €50Million.

If Liverpool were to continue with their interest in the winger, it would be unsurprising if Wolves accepted a much lower offer given the Spaniards decline in form last season.

The former Barcelona powerhouse has played up front and at the back for Wolves since arriving at the club in 2018, making him a versatile player that could fit well with Klopp’s style.

As good of a potential fit the 25 year-old may be, Liverpool could be taking a major gamble by adding Traore to their ranks.

The Reds need a reliable forward who can give them more options up front like Diogo Jota did last season, and with Adama Traore only scoring 10 goals in over 100 appearances for Wolves, Liverpool could be better looking elsewhere.

Traore has two years left on his current contract and Wolves could be willing to listen to offers of around €30Million.

Liverpool have recently been linked with Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez as well as Renato Sanches from Lille and Dutch star Donyell Malen.

There are no reports from local journalists of any concrete deals being made by Liverpool for any of the three named players but it certainly seems that another new arrival to Anfield is incoming.
