No. 3 (USA Today) Indiana women’s basketball takes its Big Ten lead to No. 12 Ohio State on Monday night.

The Hoosiers (23-1, 13-1) have won 11 consecutive games, most recently over national powerhouse Iowa and star Caitlin Clark.

The Buckeyes (21-4, 10-4) have won two of their past three games, but are 0-3 against ranked opponents since beating Michigan on Dec. 31.

Mackenzie Holmes scores a career-high 33 points, Sara Scalia 24 (6-of-8 3-pointers) and Grace Berger 16 along with 10 rebounds. The Hoosiers make 9 3-pointers and are +12 in rebounding.

Cotie McMahon scores 22 for OSU, Taylor Mikesell 15 and Eboni Walker 12 along with 10 rebounds.

The Buckeyes have a 24-14 edge in the period. OSU is up to 52.3% shooting, and IU down to 61.7%.

OSU’s Cotie McMahon has 21 points, Taylor Mikesell 12 and Eboni Walker 10. The Buckeyes cut their deficit to 60-50.

Mackenzie Holmes has 18 points and Sara Scalia 17 for the Hoosiers, who are shooting 74.2% from the field. Holmes is 9-of-11 and Scalia 6-of-8 (5-of-6 3s).

Cotie McMahon has 12 for OSU, which is hitting 46.7% overall and 1-of-7 on 3s.

The Hoosiers score 5 points in the first minute of the quarter to extend their lead to 17 points.

IU is 10-of-15 overall from the field and 3-of-5 on 3-pointers. OSU is led by Cotie McMahon with 6 points, but the Buckeyes are shooting just 29.4%.

Indiana women’s basketball preview vs. Ohio State

Mackenzie Holmes leads IU with 22.1 points (on 69% shooting from the field) and 7.6 rebounds per game. Sydney Parrish (12.9 points, 38.1% 3-point shooting, 5.8 rebounds, 1.7 steals), Grace Berger (12.3 points, 50% from the field, 5.6 assists) and Yarden Garzon (11.8 points, 49.1% 3-point shooting) add scoring punch.

Taylor Mikesell leads OSU with 17.9 points and 40.2% 3-point shooting. Taylor Thierry (13.8 points, 64.9% from the field, 7.0 rebounds), Cotie McMahon (13.6 points) and Rebeka Mikulasikova (12.4 points) make for a balanced lineup. North Central High School alum Rikki Harris adds 6.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists.

The Hoosiers beat the Buckeyes 78-65 on Jan. 26, when IU was ranked 6th and OSU was undefeated and ranked No. 2 in the nation. Holmes led the Hoosiers with 26 points, with help from Garzon (20, 10 rebounds, 3 steals), Parrish (12, 11 rebounds) and Berger (12, 6 assists). McMahon led OSU with 21 points, Mikesell added 15 points, and Thierry 13 points and 12 rebounds.
