Lita Returns To WWE On Monday Night Raw, Aids Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch and Bayley have been feuding for the past few months. They were set to have a steel cage match at the Raw 30th-anniversary episode, but because the segment before their match ran long, their bout had to be cut. This came as a major disappointment to WWE fans, who were very excited to see two of the best wrestlers in the world collide in the ring.
RELATED: Sami Zayn vs. Roman Reigns Planned For Elimination Chamber Main Event Since OctoberFortunately, WWE corrected their error. They rescheduled the cage match between Bayley and Becky Lynch so it took place in the main event on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
To no one’s surprise, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL came to the ring during the bout to help out their leader, Bayley. Dakota recently sustained a leg injury and was unable to interfere much, but Iyo immediately began scaling the cage. Then, to the surprise and delight of the WWE Universe, Lita’s music began to ring throughout the arena.
Lita promptly dealt with Iyo and Dakota, allowing Becky Lynch to capture the victory.
Before tonight, Lita’s most recent appearance for WWE was WWE Elimination Chamber 2022. The event was held in Saudi Arabia and Lita, ironically, challenged Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Champion. It seems that during her time away from the ring, Lita has come to respect Becky Lynch much more.
It is unclear what’s next for Lita in WWE. There’s a chance this was a one-off appearance, but there’s always hope that she’ll return to the ring again soon.
