Linkin Park were one of the most successful bands during the 2000s. More than 20 years later, the group surprised all the world’s music fans with a brand-new song that will bring back memories from the old times.
Their latest track has been officially released, although we could already hear the first seconds of the song a few days ago in a preview video that the band published on their official Twitter account.
The title of Linkin Park’s new hit is ‘Lost’. As they have explained in their social media, the track was from the band’s 2003 Meteora album, which was a success in the music industry
Linkin Park managed to sell more than 15 million copies worldwide, with the track ‘Session’ being nominated at the Grammy Awards in the category of ‘Best Rock Instrumental Performance’ that same year.
“‘Lost,’ a new, never-before-heard song from the Meteora archives,” the band wrote on Twitter.
The song features the lead vocals of the late Chester Bennington, who committed suicide in 2017 after suffering from depression, as well as addiction to alcohol and drugs.
