Lil Keed passed away at the age of 24. The tragic news was revealed by his younger brother, Lil Gotit, on his Instagram a few minutes ago today (May 13).
Lil Keed had been making waves in the music industry since 2018 and was viewed as one of the most talented rising artists from Atlanta.
He was signed to Young Thug’s YSL (Young Stoners Life) Records. Fans are in disbelief after learning about the tragedy.

Lil Gotit first shared an Instagram story in which he tagged Lil Keed and wrote the message: “Why bro, why u leave me bro” followed by many crying emojis.
He posted another picture of Lil Keed on his feed, confirming his passing.

“Can’t believe I seen u die today, bro. I did all my cries. I know what u want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

How Keed and Gotit are related
Lil Keed and Lil Gotit are siblings. They share the same mother and father.
Both brothers have made a mark in the rapping world by working with some famous artists.
At the Rolling Loud Festival in 2011, Lil Keed shared the stage with Young Thug, Chief Keef and Lil Wayne among others.
The late rapper has released a number of albums, singles, and mixtapes despite being relatively new to the industry. He has even featured in Future’s song Undefeated.
And, only yesterday, he shared the poster for his upcoming show in Georgia on Memorial Day, May 28, 2022.

The news of Lil Keed’s death was all over social media just minutes after Lil Gotit’s Instagram post. Fans just aren’t able to believe that he’s passed away at such a young age.
One fan tweeted: “I’m sick bruh no way…RIP Lil Keed.”
Another heartbroken fan wrote: “RIP Lil Keed. Can’t believe I’m seeing dis rn. I’m sick to my stomach.”
“That lil Keed news just killed my whole vibe,” wrote another fan.
“I remember when I first heard the “Wop” snippet from Keed. And I swore it was the craziest thing I’ve ever heard in my life up to that point lol. He really was on that beat floating so crazy, you knew he was special after hearing this. RIP Lil Keed,” another fan said on Twitter.
