TAMPA — The Lightning have moved one step closer toward a solution for their salary cap issues heading into the 2020-21 season with a late trade Tuesday night.

According to ESPN’s Emily Kaplan, the Lightning have traded Tyler Johnson and their second-round pick of the 2023 NHL draft in exchange for defenseman Brent Seabrook.
