Lightning vs. Avalanche score: Live updates of Stanley Cup Final Game 2 as Colorado seeks 2-0 series lead
Colorado #Colorado
In Game 2 of the 2022 Stanley Cup Final, the Colorado Avalanche will try to hold serve at home and take a 2-0 lead in the series. On the other side, the Tampa Bay Lightning aim to even things up as they head home.
Hockey fans are in for a treat if Game 2 is anything like Game 1. Colorado forward Andre Burakovsky scored to end things at 1:23 of overtime, making it the 11th shortest overtime in Stanley Cup Final history. In Game 2, Tampa Bay will need a much better start after getting knocked back onto its heels the last time out. Colorado won’t need to change much after controlling play for a large portion of Game 1. The Avs were clearly the better team Wednesday despite the scoreboard indicating a closer game.
Puck drop for Game 2 is set for 8:00 p.m. at Ball Arena. The game will air on ABC and is also available to stream on fuboTV (get access now).
