LIFE Fall Concert returning for its second year

Laredoans were recently treated to a surprise as the Laredo International Fair & Exposition organization announced its second-ever Fall Concert after receiving a great response from the community last year.

The announcement also included the lineup of bands and musicians playing which include Costumbre beginning the event, Fiebre Looka, Erick y Su Grupo Massore, Los Palominos and Solido and Siggno headlining. The event will also feature a car show and pop-up vendors all to help benefit and collect money for all of LIFE’s upcoming projects in 2023. 

A car show and pop-up shop vendors will also be present.

The event will be held at the Webb County Fairgrounds on Oct. 1, and the gates will open at 4 p.m.

“We are excited to announce the lineup for our 2022 LIFE Fall Concert,” LIFE Fair Executive Director Alberto Torres said. “This will be a family fun-for-all-ages event.”

Torres said the event helps LIFE raise funds for their upcoming county fair and subsequently fund the scholarships and programs LIFE has implemented for the benefit of Webb County’s youth.

Another board member of the organization said the event was announced due to how successful it was last year when they first held it. They said the event brings much more benefits to the organization as well as support for their future projects.

“This is the second year we’ve hosted the LIFE Fall Festival, and because of its great response from the people, we have decided to put this event together once again,” LIFE Fair Board Member Fernando Ortega said. “Our ultimate goal is to raise funds for our LIFE students with the mission of assisting as many youth as possible, whether through a scholarship, project grant or add-on’s/premiums. We hope the Webb County community comes out and enjoys our premier lineup for the LIFE Fall Concert.”

Torres hopes the families of Laredo participate in the event and have a good time to help contribute to a great cause. 

“We invite everyone to partake in this event which promises to be a spectacular, well-worth-it festival,” Torres said.
