Some Leicester fans were led to believe Everton had fallen behind in their game, but the Foxes faithful had the last laugh in the first half.
Fake news was filtered through at the King Power Stadium that relegation rivals Everton went a goal down at home to Bournemouth.

The Leicester fans were understandably delighted but it proved to be a false alarm with the Goodison Park clash actually goalless.
However, they had every right to celebrate when they went ahead through Harvey Barnes’ composed finish.
A neat one-two with Kelechi Iheanacho saw Barnes collect the ball inside the box before slotting it past the onrushing Lukasz Fabianski.
That goal put Leicester above Everton on goal difference, however, it all changed in the 57th minute at Goodison Park when Abdoulaye Doucoure’s thunderous effort put Sean Dyche’s side back above the drop zone.
