Lee Corso talks up Tennessee football’s chances vs. Georgia during College GameDay

Count Lee Corso among those who think No. 12 Tennessee (2-0) will give No. 3 Georgia (2-0) a stiff test Saturday (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS) in Athens.
Corso, the popular ESPN analyst, talked up the Vols on Saturday during College GameDay.
“Georgia will be challenged by Tennessee,” Corso said. “One, Tennessee will not beat themselves. They’re the only SEC team not to commit a turnover this year, and they match Georgia up front on both sides of the ball. This will be a low-scoring, old-style SEC game.
“Tennessee is hot. They have won eight straight, the second-longest streak in the nation. Watch out, ‘Dogs, I’m telling you. Tennessee is coming.”

Tennessee hasn’t defeated Georgia since 2016. The weather forecast calls for rain throughout the game in Athens.
Georgia is coming off a 27-6 victory over Auburn, while Tennessee beat Missouri 35-12 last week.
“We can talk Tennessee all we want,” ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit said. “They are better. They are more physical. They care more confident. But I think they’re catching Georgia at the wrong time, in my opinion.”
