LeBron James, Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell will play vs. Clippers
Clippers #Clippers
The Los Angeles Lakers had to over-exert themselves a bit on Tuesday in order to get a very narrow win over the Utah Jazz in overtime, 135-133, and there was a feeling that it would result in some absences on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
In particular, the status of LeBron James and Anthony Davis was in question after both, who are still nursing lingering injuries, played big minutes in Salt Lake City.
But the good news is that both of them will play, as will point guard D’Angelo Russell, who was out on Tuesday. In addition, backup center Mo Bamba, who has been out for about a month with a sprained ankle, will be available to play.
This contest will have major playoff implications for both squads. If the Lakers win, they could go from seventh place to fifth place in the Western Conference, which would be a major step forward in their quest to avoid the play-in tournament.
