Leandro Trossard had a memorable first half for Arsenal on Sunday as he recorded three assists.

It was a comfortable 3-0 win against Fulham, who had absolutely no idea how to deal with the Gunners forward.

Trossard also became the first player in the competition’s history to make a hat-trick of assists in the first half of an away game.

Arsenal had already had a goal disallowed by a tight VAR offside call when Gabriel broke the deadlock in the 21st minute.

He jumped above the Fulham defenders to head home a Trossard corner as they capitalised on their fast start.

The Gunners doubled their advantage when Trossard crossed the ball for Gabriel Martinelli, who easily beat his marker Antonee Robinson to nod home.

Arsenal added a third just before half-time, when Fulham were again unable to deal with a cross.

Odegaard was picked out in the centre of the box by the January signing from Brighton, and he took a touch to create space then fired into the back of the net.

After the game, Trossard posted on his social media accounts ‘Hi, how may I assist you?’

It was something Arsenal fans used to enjoy posting about Mesut Ozil and now they have Leandro ‘Crossard’ to sing about.

Arsenal coasted in the second half to a 3-0 win as they restored their five-point lead over Man City at the top of the table.

There was also the welcome sight of Gabriel Jesus back on the pitch for the first time since before the World Cup.

He came on as a late second half substitute and should have scored after going through one-on-one with Bernd Leno.

Luckily, that did not affect the result and Mikel Arteta picked up the 100th victory in his Arsenal managerial career.
