Lakers vs. Suns score: Live NBA playoff updates as LeBron James, Los Angeles host Chris Paul and Co. in Game 3
Lakers #Lakers
The Phoenix Suns had a hot start to their first-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers after winning Game 1. LeBron James and the defending champions answered in Game 2. As the series shifts to Los Angeles, the Lakers look to take control Thursday night in Game 3. The Lakers hold a sizeable lead in the fourth quarter.
Paul was held to just 23 minutes of action in Game 2 as his right shoulder contusion gave him trouble. He finished with just six points on Tuesday as his Suns lost 109-102. After the loss, coach Monty Williams said CP3 was obviously ‘laboring’ throughout the night. Devin Booker finished with a team-high 31 points, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Lakers. LeBron James (23 points, nine assists) and Anthony Davis (34 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists) fueled their team to a series-tying win. No. 7 Los Angeles now hosts the next two games with a real shot to take control against the second-seeded Suns.
