Mbappe admits delight
Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has admitted he is ‘very happy’ with the signing of Gini Wijnaldum from Liverpool.
Mbappe believes PSG ‘worked very well’ to ‘seize’ an opportunity to land the 30-year-old on a free transfer with Barcelona also interested.
Wijnaldum dedicated his EURO2020 goal to former team-mate Virgil van Dijk at the weekend and has promised to reveal the reasons behind his Liverpool exit to supporters.
French forward Mbappe told Le10 Sport of the Dutchman: “He’s really a very good player, I’m very happy he’s coming.”

Stunning images show how Anfield will look
A couple of computer generated images have shown how the dynamic of Liverpool’s home stadium Anfield will drastically change after its latest £60million development with the famous Kop stand now dwarfed.
Liverpool were granted planning permission for their proposed £60million Anfield Road stand expansion as Liverpool Council’s planning committee gave official approval on Tuesday to the application, which will see the capacity at of the ground increased by 7,000 to 61,000.
Some local residents and environmental groups had expressed concern over the impact the works could have on nearby Stanley Park.
But the planning committee voted 6-2 in favour of the scheme, giving the Reds the green light to press ahead with development, which is expected to have an 18-month build time.
