Kutztown University women’s soccer advances to NCAA Division II regional final with win over Gannon

Nov. 14—Lexy Endres scored on a free kick at 50:20 as seventh-seeded Kutztown University defeated third-seeded Gannon 1-0 in the second round of the NCAA Division II Tournament Sunday at Erie.
The Golden Bears (11-5-4) advance to the Atlantic Regional final for the second time in program history and will face top-seeded West Chester, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference champ at a time and site to be announced. The Golden Rams beat No. 5 West Virginia State 1-0.
Emme Wolf made six saves Sunday for Kutztown, five in the second half. Kennedy Solymosi made four saves for Gannon (15-4-4), including on a penalty kick in the 58th minute.
