SAN FRANCISCO — Warriors fans rose to their feet when Klay Thompson checked out of the game for the final time.

Thompson, in the first full season of his injury comeback, deserved every bit of the standing ovation.

The Warriors crushed the Thunder 141-114 Monday night at Chase Center behind a tonnage of 3-pointers.

Thompson proved that one Splash Brother is better than none.

Stephen Curry (left leg) was out for the Warriors, but Thompson was vintage Klay Thompson. And that’s a nightmare the Thunder knows all too well.

Thompson went wild in the first half with 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting. He was 7-of-9 from 3-point range. Thompson made one more 3-pointer than the Thunder (6-of-19) in the first half.

The halftime break didn’t cool Thompson.

He made his first 3-pointer after the break, jump starting the Warriors’ runaway win. He finished with 42 points on 12-of-16 3-point shooting.
