Klay Thompson Made NBA History In Kings-Warriors Game

Klay Thompson moved up on the NBA’s all-time playoff scoring list during Game 6.

On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings are playing Game 6 of their first-round playoff series.

During the game, Klay Thompson made NBA history by moving up on the all-time playoff scoring list. 

The five-time All-Star entered the evening with 2,897 career playoff points, which ranked 33rd on the list. 

He has now passed Hall of Famer Sam Jones (2,909) for 32nd.

The next player for Thompson to move ahead of will be Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard (2,934). 

Through the first five games of the series, the former Washington State star has averaged 21.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest while shooting 48.1% from the field and 40.7% from the three-point range.
