KILMARNOCK are piling on the pressure against Celtic as they look to cancel out Matt O’Riley’s first-half opener.

Callum McGregor saw an effort saved by Will Dennis but O’Riley was there to slide in and send the ball into the net on 33 minutes.

The goal came just 59 seconds after Danny Armstrong crashed a volley off the crossbar at the other end in a major scare for the Hoops.

Just minutes after O’Riley’s goal, a goalline Alistair Johnston block somehow denied Corrie Ndaba an equaliser after Joe Hart had denied another Armstrong effort.

Killie came flying out the traps in the second 45 and Robbie Deas saw a header drop just wide.
