Khris Middleton exited Thursday’s game between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks with an injury.
On Thursday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks are hosting the Boston Celtics in Wisconsin.
The two teams faced off in the second round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs (the Celtics won in seven games) and they will have an excellent chance to go up against each other in the 2023 playoffs.
During the showdown, three-time NBA All-Star Khris Middleton got injured and went to the locker room.
Underdog NBA: “Status alert: Khris Middleton (laceration) headed to locker room Thursday.”
There has been no word yet from the team on if he will be able to return at some point during the night.
That said, the game has been a blowout for the most part, so it wouldn’t make sense to put him back in while they are losing by so much with so little time.
Middleton has averages of 15.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest in games.
The Bucks came into the night as the best team in the NBA with a 55-21 record in 76 games.
They are the first seed in the Eastern Conference and 3.0 games ahead of the Celtics (who are the second seed).
Over the last ten games, the Bucks have gone 7-3, and they are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
As for the Celtics, they are 52-24 in 76 games and also 7-3 in their last ten.
On the road, they have gone 24-15 in 39 games away from Boston, while the Bucks are 30-7 in 37 games hosted on their home floor.
