Game 7 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets in the Eastern semifinals lived up to the hype, with a wild fourth quarter that went back and forth.
And the way that period ended was even wilder.
The Bucks were up 109-107, having just squandered a possession in which they had 2.1 seconds on the shot clock off a timeout and didn’t get a shot off. With six seconds left, the ball got in to Kevin Durant — who else? — and despite absolutely solid defense from P.J. Tucker, Durant got a turnaround shot near the three-point line that almost no one could hit.
But you know what happened. He nailed it, tying the game and sending the contest to overtime.
