Ketchup lid tip shows the RIGHT way to open a bottle – but not everyone’s convinced

EVER struggle to peel the foil off your ketchup bottle lid when opening it for the first time?

A condiment fan has revealed a handy hack to remove the seal in seconds – and all you need is the cap of the ketchup bottle.

TikToker @damien.official showed how you need to remove plastic white lid, turn it around, and then press down to pierce the foil.

This makes a perfect hole which is the same size as the hole in the lid your ketchup will be squeezed out of.

Then you simply add the lid back on, and you’ve saved yourself the hassle of trying to peel back the fiddly foil.

Many people were highly impressed with the hack – but others were not convinced.
