As her family’s designated photographer, Kate Middleton has several adorable photos to display around her home.
On Friday, royal fans got a glimpse of just one of the special pictures she and Prince William framed and prominently featured in their country home, Anmer Hall.
During a video call with care workers, a familiar portrait of Prince George was spotted behind the couple, who sat on a cream couch in one of the rooms of their country estate in Norfolk. The adorable photo was originally released for George’s 6th birthday in July 2019.
In the candid snap, a laughing Prince George is seen lying in the garden at the family’s Kensington Palace home as he wears the official England National Soccer Team jersey — proving he’s just as big of a soccer fan as his dad.

Kate and William are currently isolating at Anmer Hall alongside their children, George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, as the U.K. is under its third major lockdown amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
William and Kate headed to Anmer Hall, which is on the Queen’s Sandringham estate, just before Christmas after George and Charlotte left school for the holidays. But with a new national lockdown announced recently, they have not returned to London and the children will not be going back to school, which has been closed, along with most others in the capital city.

In April, they shared details about their time at home with their three young children amid the coronavirus lockdown.
“It’s been ups and downs, like a lot of families self-isolating. George is much older than Louis is and things, but they are aware, I’m always surprised,” Kate said. “And although you don’t want to scare them and make it too overwhelming, I think it is appropriate to acknowledge it in the simple ways and age-appropriate ways.”

The royal couple was also asked about managing homeschooling, to which William laughed and said it has been “fun.”
Kate added, “The children have got such stamina, I don’t know how. Honestly, you get to the end of the day and you write down the list of all the things that you’ve done in that day. So, you pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day — they have had a lovely time — but it is amazing how much you can cram into one day that’s for sure.”
