Karl Stefanovic struts his stuff in a pair of short shorts with wife Jasmine Yarbrough

He’s been keeping fit after losing eight kilos in August last year. 

And Karl Stefanovic, 48, refused to let Sydney’s Covid-19 lockdown get in the way of his active lifestyle on Wednesday, as he headed out for a walk in Milsons Point with wife Jasmine Yarbrough, 37.  

The Today show host made the most of Sydney’s winter sunshine as he strutted his stuff in his favourite pair of tiny shorts.

His sporty ensemble was completed with a plain black T-shirt, a matching hoodie and a pair of bright red sneakers. 

Meanwhile, Jasmine strolled next to her husband with a take-away coffee in hand. 

The former model showed off her slim pins in black sports leggings, and completed her look with a pink hoodie and sneakers.

She also opted to go barefaced and shielded her eyes behind cat-eye sunglasses.  

At one stage, the couple enjoyed a romantic moment as they gently linked arms.  

Karl is on a mission to maintain his fitness after shedding eight kilos during a 10-week weight loss program that was documented on the Today show last year.

The TV star was aided in his efforts by obesity expert Dr. Nick Fuller and Karl followed an interval weight loss program.

‘Karl put up his hand on air approximately a few months ago telling me he wanted my help and kudos to him,’ Dr. Fuller told Daily Mail Australia at the time. 

‘Women are usually the first to admit they have a problem when it comes to weight, but it’s rare men do anything about it until a serious health scare happens. We need more male public figures and celebrities to follow suit.’

Karl previously revealed that his program, which included a lighter evening meal, had helped him get to sleep much quicker and left him feeling more refreshed in the morning. 

The journalist acknowledged he did have difficulty about halfway through the program, and found that having a cheat day on Friday was helpful.

Karl’s weight at the time he started the program was 105kg.
