Kanye West fans are today celebrating as the rapper hosted a new listening party for his highly anticipated upcoming album, “Donda.”

Videos from the supposed Las Vegas event have been emerging on social media, prompting excitement from fans as several people who were apparently there shared snippets of the new tracks.

Social media personality Justin Laboy, who claims to have been at the event, tweeted to say that the album will likely be released this week—although no official announcement has been made.

“Kanye West album is really done. When it drops this week, we probably not going to listen to anything else for a while.. Let me go enjoy all the current artist I’m listening to until then. God bless,” he tweeted.

He also added: “Kanye played his new album for me & @KDTrey5 last night in Vegas. Man listen! The production is light years ahead of it’s time, and the bars sound like he’s broke & hungry trying to get signed again. Any artist who plan on dropping soon should just push it back.”

Twitter user Nigel, who claims to have been at the listening party, said that the album is “really about having faith in God and overcoming adversity. Kanye speaks on personal struggles and struggles others face. Positive messages that you can turn up to.”

Music producer Bryan-Michael Cox also responded to Nigel to say he thought the album was “dope.”

Travis Scott and Playboi Carti are also rumored to feature on the project, tweeted Twitter user Squirt Reynolds, who also shared a video purporting to be from the listening party that has since garnered almost 100,000 views on the site.

The brief section of song played in the viral video has prompted a mixed reaction from fans, with one tweeting: “We might just be getting another classic,” while another added: “no thank you.”

Meanwhile, photos are circulating that show guests allegedly queuing outside the venue where the supposed listening event took place on Sunday.

Producer Teddy Walton also tweeted that he was excited to be a part of history.

“Honestly can’t wait till [Kanye West] drop,” he wrote. “& I’m glad to be apart [sic] of history… See y’all soon,” he said.

Footage of Tyler, The Creator in the studio with West also emerged over the weekend, with fans thinking they spotted a track list written on a whiteboard.

“Donda” will be the rapper’s tenth studio album, succeeding 2019’s “Jesus Is King.”
