Kanye West Attempts to Share His Extensive Music Contracts with Fans on Twitter Amid Fight to Buy His Masters

Kanye West is beginning the battle to acquire all of his master recordings, which will cost millions and is the same battle Taylor Swift went through last year.

“OK GUYS CHECK THIS OUT … I DONT HAVE A CONTRACT WITH UNIVERSAL … I HAVE TEN 🤣 THEY TRY TO BURRY US ALIVE,” Kanye posted on his Twitter account. “EVERYONE AT UNIVERSAL AND VIVENDI PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY LEGAL POWER AND USE MY VOICE UNTIL ALL ARTIST CONTRACTS ARE CHANGED STARTING WITH GETTING MY MASTERS FOR MY CHILDREN I WILL NOT STOP I PROMISE YOU IM AM PETTY AND VERY PERSONAL.”

Then, Kanye indicated he was going to share all of his contracts on Twitter for all lawyers to look at, writing, “Here are my ten Universal contracts … I need every lawyer in the world to look at these.” He then tried to upload a PDF to his Twitter account, but unfortunately, only the PDF’s file name showed up. He has since deleted that tweet.

He then achieved his goal of displaying how extensive his contracts are, showing a screen grab of all the individual file names. “This is what me Kanye West deal looks like today … I PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS THAT IT DONT LOOK LIKE THIS TOMORROW.”

Kanye has been tweeting extensively about taking legal action against Sony and Universal.
