Harry Kane has hinted that “stuff will happen” regarding his future at Tottenham Hotspur after the European Championships.

The forward has been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs. He has told the club that he wants to leave.

After they lost in the Carabao Cup final, he explained that his desire to win team trophies is the main reason for him looking to exit Tottenham.

Henderson stuck at start of Liverpool saga for England

It is believed that Man City and Man United are leading the chase to sign Kane. It has been reported that Juventus are also interested in him.

England boss Gareth Southgate has already stated that it is “very unlikely” that any of his players will switch clubs during the Euros.

Kane has spoken with BBC Sport ahead of England’s Euros opener against Croatia (as cited by Football London). He insisted that he is not paying much attention to the transfer talk:

“It’s been ok. I’m sure I’ll get asked about it a lot but my most important thing is trying to win a major tournament with England.

“The rest of the stuff will happen obviously when I get back from the tournament but for now that’s all I’m focused on.

“I’m not someone who listens to the noise anyway, whether it’s good or bad to be honest.

“I try to never get too high or too low. I’m here to give everything for my country.”

Earlier this month, Michael Owen insisted that transfer rumours will not distract Kane this summer:

“It is out there in the public that there could be a change of club for him so there is speculation.

“If he’s thinking that, I think he’s been thinking that for the last year so I don’t think anything is really going to change from that perspective.

“If he was an 18-year-old we could question it, but I think he’s so experienced, I can guarantee you one thing, once he crosses that line the last thing he’ll be thinking of is Manchester City or Manchester United or Real Madrid, his focus will be on this competition and this tournament.”
