Justin Bieber joined a star-studded roster of musicians ahead of the surprisingly short boxing match between Jake Paul and Ben Askren on Saturday night.
Bieber performed at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, after previously shooting hoops in the celebrity basketball game for Legends Day earlier this weekend.
The 27-year-old singer–songwriter’s set was among his highest-profile gigs since the coronavirus pandemic engulfed the US more than a year ago.
Despite that, Justin kept his look fairly low key for his performance.
He had on a simple white ribbed shirt with long sleeves, which he contrasted with slim black jeans.
The Intentions singer covered his shaggy hair with an orange ski cap, and he completed his stage look with nondescript white sneakers.
He also added a bit of bling with a gold chain around his neck.

Justin seemed to favor a fairly minimalist black stage setup to let the crowd focus on his music and performance.
However, he added a bit of visual intrigue with a laser show during a portion of his opening set.
Although he was the lead-in to the Paul vs. Askren fight, he headlined the musical portion of the event, which also featured performances by Doja Cat, Saweetie, The Black Keys and Diplo’s Major Lazer side project.
Although he mostly stuck to vocals, he showed off some of his musical skills when he took to the electric piano on stage.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Justin will be adding an extra dose of firepower to the upcoming Friends reunion special for HBO Max.
The Canadian musician will be appearing on the special in the ‘Spudnik’ costume that Ross (David Schwimmer) debuted in the season eight episode The One With The Halloween Party.
Bieber is a self-professed Friends superfan. He previously went undercover as a Warner Bros. Studios tour guide who surprised fans when he led them through the original Friends set.
‘Justin was honored to be involved and didn’t mind sending himself up wearing a ridiculous costume,’ a source told the publication.
‘It was all run like a military operation to keep details under wraps, and Justin nailed it.’

Justin’s wife Hailey Bieber had accompanied him to Atlanta for Legends Day, but she seemed to keep a low profile when it came to the fight on Saturday.
Earlier in the day, her stylist Maeve Reilly shared photos to Instagram featuring the 24-year-old model in a mirrored Prada mini shirt and bright white crop.
Her 34.3 million Instagram followers got a behind-the-scenes look at her haute couture transformation in her Instagram stories.
She highlighted her impeccably made-up face and elegant blond waves in a closeup snap.
An earlier video showed her looking fresh-faced with small gold hoop earrings and frizzy straight hair as she held her adorable dog on her lap.
‘Cute lil guy,’ she wrote as she zoomed in on his face while she showed off a soft smile.
She had on a robe while her makeup artist and hairstylist perfect her look.
Later, she posted the pristine results, adding a black fleece-lined jacket to the crop top–mini skirt combo to stay warm.
