Former Georgia Bulldog Nolan Smith is on the field and taking part in drills in Indianapolis and he’s turned in several results at the NFL Combine.
Smith played four full seasons at the University of Georgia, and during that time he racked up 110 total tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and 12.5 sacks throughout his career. His biggest season came during the 2021 season when he finished the season with 4.5 sacks and 8 tackles for loss. He played in all fifteen games that season.
Smith was a part of Georgia’s 2019 recruiting class and was a five-star prospect and the number-one player in the nation during his recruitment process.
NFL Draft Eval from SI.com:
Nolan Smith is an excellent athlete who is a terrorizing run defender. It all starts with Smith’s freakish get-off, where he keys the center and times the snap very well and his explosive first step covers a lot of ground. Smith makes up for his undersized stature with great technique, playing with low pad level and consistently winning inside hand placement to stand up tackles and control the point of attack.
